Combined NSF Daily Notice

For users of both Premium Overdraft for DNA® and either the PS_ATMPOSFEE or PS_ATMPOS batch processes*, this DNAapp produces one notice per day per account when either PS_ATMPOSFEE or PS_ATMPOS assess fees on ATM and /or POS transactions via the Premium Overdraft module.

The notice lists the date, the transaction amount, the associated fee and the transaction description as determined by the transaction type code for each transaction that resulted in a fee being assessed.

The application uses the effective date of the queue to drive what posting date it looks for and produces a single notice for those items. That posting date will be the date the fee was assessed which should also coincide with the original post date of the physical transactions.

*PS_ATMPOSFEE is an updated version of PS_ATMPOS. These applications assess a fee and produce a notice for each transaction that has accessed their Premium OD funds via the ATM or POS channel. They give clients the ability to apply the Premium Overdraft limit to the ATM and/or POS channels, increasing customer/member satisfaction and fee revenue. The Combined NSF Daily Notice DNAapp generates a single notice per day per account when an account has one or more overdrawn ATM and/or POS transactions in a single day.

By eliminating the unnecessary printing and delivery of multiple notices to a single customer/member, this DNAapp reduces expenses as well as any confusion/dissatisfaction that might result from receiving multiple fee notices on the same day.

Please note: This DNAapp does not consolidate non-ATM/POS NSF Premium OD transactions. If a customer/member overdraws their account with a non-ATM/POS transaction on the same posting date that they overdraw the same account with both an ATM and a POS transaction, then the customer/member would receive two notices – one for the non-ATM/POS transaction and one that consolidates the ATM and POS transactions onto a single notice.
