USPS Returned Mail File Import
This application reviews the members from returned mail files and applies warning flag and assesses a bad address fee on the member account for invalid address records.
This application consumes USPS returned mail files, in the OneCode ACS®Legacy File Format (561 character) and Statement Account Number File Format (22 character), and locates the related members and accounts in the DNA® database. After reviewing the member and accounts for conditions outlined below the application updates the appropriate records within DNA® with a warning flag to indicate the specific address is no longer valid (NO MAIL, BAD ADDR, etc.). In addition, the application assesses a Bad Address Fee when the address is not already marked as invalid and has not been changed within a specified timeframe.
