Security Inquiry
Security Inquiry enables your financial institution to inquire upon the access authorization details of the employees for any selected ‘Screen Name/Number’ or ‘Transaction Type/Type Code’ and ‘Permissions’. Security Inquiry improves the efficiency of authorization review.
This new screen can be used to search for an employee and inquire upon what level of access (if any) the employee has to a selected screen or for a specific transaction type. The new Security Inquiry screen provides the following information regarding authorizations: User ID, Employee Name, Authorization Code, Authorization Description, Authorization Item Code, Authorization Item Description, and Permission.
Benefits
- This DNAapp provides an online query of what authorities, auth items and permissions are enabling a DNA user to access a screen or a transaction within DNA.
- It can also be used to compare multiple employees' access to the same screen and help identify differences in access levels without ever having to leave the DNA screen saving time from reviewing SQL and spreadsheet output used today to review access levels and auth items.
