Role Reassignment

This updating batch application streamlines the account role reassignment process by automatically replacing the existing person having any specified account role with a new person.

The app selects all the accounts of a Person based on the Role Code, Status, Major/Minor and Branch, to update the Old Person Number assigned to an account role to a New Person Number. If the new person already has same account role in account then an exception message will be reported.

You can run the app in non-updating mode to identify and review accounts that would qualify for a change prior to making updates.

Benefits

This application provides the ability to change the person fulfilling a specific “Role” on one or more accounts. A typical use would be for an institution to change the person assigned to a role due to a change in the employee’s functions or because of staffing changes. For instance, a new Loan Officer can be assigned to all loans for which the former Loan Officer has moved to a different position in the Financial Institution.
