MERS Data Recon
The application will automate the process of comparing the data received from MERS to the data in DNA® for the mortgage loans and produce detailed reports listing the data discrepancies between the two systems.
This application reads in one of two files types and compare the input data. The files are derived from the mortgage electronic registration system ('MERS') to the data in DNA®. The application will automate the process of comparing the data received from MERS to the data in DNA® for the mortgage loans and produce detailed reports listing the data discrepancies between the two systems. Discrepancies can then be researched and manually corrected.
Benefits
The Data Review is a process requiring system-to-system data reconciliation to ensure the mortgage electronic registration system ('MERS') related data on the member servicing system matches the values in the MERS System data fields. The process consists of a series of comparisons between a file of MIN data from the MERS System against the data stored in DNA®. This application increases the efficiency by automating a process that might otherwise be manual.
