This DNAapp creates a screen that shows when either all or part of a check hold is to be released so that those funds are immediately available.
The Check Hold Release Screen allows for all or part of a check hold to be released so that those funds are available immediately or on specified date.
Benefits
This DNAapp provides a mechanism by which the Financial Institution may override the standard DNA® check holds schedule when necessary.
- When using this screen the Financial Institutions are not able to tie back the amount released to a specific transaction in DNA®.
- Funds availability information is not reflected accurately when reprinting deposit receipts.
