ACH and Payroll Swaps

This application is used to identify possibly missing ACH payroll swaps.

Benefits

Helps reduce the amount of errors in the DNA payroll distribution process. This gives you the opportunity to review errors that could happen the following day(s).

Processing

Setup Processing –

1. Add the application to the queue that is run for 'ACH' payroll distributions this application should run after the distribution application and before the queue error and queue result applications
2. Set the Number of Days parameter as needed. This parameter is used to indicate the number of days back in time to search File Warehouse. If left blank, the application will use the Queue Effective Date.

Application Processing –

1. Identify records in which a person number was swapped in and the account number in the record is being used as a residual, but there is no organization number at the header record level.

These conditions do not guarantee that an org swap is required. Use the FW Review screen in Payroll Manager to determine the correct organization that the person's residual is in, and to create the org swaps(s)

2. Identify records in which an organization number was swapped in and the external account number in the record has been used in the past to identify a record that needs to be distributed.

These conditions do not guarantee that a person swap is required. Use the FW Review screen in Payroll Manager to determine the correct residual account number, and to create the person/account swaps(s).

If after reviewing the report you create new org and / or person swaps be sure to apply the changes to the ACH files and re-run the distribution job.  Alternatively, you could wait for the evening batch to that runs the distributions to do this for you.
