The Member Number Generator is a workflow step that gives a financial institution the ability to assign a member number to a person or organization in the New Deposit Account Wizard, as well as the existing New Person Wizard, and the 'More'menu of Relationship Profile.  

This new step in the New Deposit Account Wizard allows the User to create a Member Agreement for all parties included in the workflow. The member number is used by some external interfaces as a way to uniquely identify a person or organization. By including this new step in the New Deposit Account Wizard, documentation can be provided to the new people and organizations at the time they are added to the system.

 

Benefits

Assigning a member number to new people as they are added to the system gives a financial institution the ability to uniquely identify a person. Often with external interfaces, a financial institution needs the ability to uniquely identify the entity (either a person or an organization).

Tax IDs are not necessarily unique between a person’s social security number and an organization’s EIN. Person and organization numbers are not unique across entities (i.e. Person 1234 could exist as well as Organization 1234). By assigning a member number at the time a person is added to the system, gives joint owners who are not otherwise members, the ability to use the external interfaces.

 

This app will only work on Credit Union environment of DNA.

  • Requires an 'Extensions' folder exist with the DNA.CoreApiService folder prior to installing this DNAapp

The workflow app included with the bundled package has the same menu name as the native New Deposit Account Workflow. If an institution wishes to use the New Deposit Account Workflow with the additional Member Maintenance step, it is recommended that the native DNAapp be deactivated using the DNAapp Management Console.

 

Once a workflow instance has been started with this DNAapp, the application cannot be uninstalled.

This app will only work on Credit Union environment of DNA.
